
Hama Governorate, in coordination with the Ghab Region Administration and the Directorate of Technical Services, is carrying out rehabilitation works on the road connecting the villages of Ashrafiyeh and Jisr al-Touta in the Ghab Plain, as part of the broader Al-Huwayz – Al-Rasif road corridor project.
The works involve laying gravel and compacted base course layers along approximately 10 kilometers at a width of 10 meters, addressing the deterioration of road infrastructure that has affected daily movement for local residents.
The initiative forms part of Hama Governorate's program to rebuild rural infrastructure across its districts, particularly in areas with reduced road and service provision.
The road connects the villages of Ashrafiyeh and Jisr al-Touta in the Ghab Plain, Hama Governorate, within the Al-Huwayz – Al-Rasif road corridor.
The works cover approximately 10 kilometers in length at a width of 10 meters.
The works involve laying gravel and compacted base course layers along the route.
Approximately 100,000 residents across the Ghab region are expected to benefit directly.
