Isoprimer is a bituminous liquid primer used to seal surfaces such as concrete before the application of bituminous waterproofing systems. When applied to the substrate it penetrates and binds dust, then dries to a uniform film that improves the adhesion of bituminous membranes, mastics, and coatings.

It is recommended as the standard primer for all ISOBIT applications that use torch-applied or self-adhesive bituminous films. The product complies with ASTM D-41, the international standard for asphalt primer used with asphalt in dampproofing and waterproofing.
