Durrat Al-Janoub Residential Suburb

A project to build a model residential suburb in Daraa governorate, comprising 20 seven-storey residential buildings, five landscaped ecological parks, a school, a fully equipped medical clinic, a treatment plant that converts human waste for agricultural use, and integrated solar power systems across all buildings.

What this means for a rebuilding company: the scheme is a full works package — excavation, earthworks and site levelling, concrete frames for twenty multi-storey blocks, then internal and external finishes with MEP, plumbing and drainage throughout. On top of that sit specialist trades: landscaping and park works; a school and clinic built to public-facility standards; a waste-treatment plant requiring an environmental works contractor and process equipment; and solar arrays calling for panel and inverter suppliers plus installation crews. The site also needs complete internal infrastructure — roads, water and power networks, and lighting.
