An integrated tourism complex on 125,805 m² at Jadidat al-Wadi in Rif Dimashq, comprising a hotel of 100 rooms with 200 beds, four-star motels of 150 units with 300 beds together with their leisure facilities, a four-star restaurant seating 280, a sports centre, landscaped areas, pedestrian walkways and car parking. The project is offered for investment over ten years under a BOT arrangement.
What this means for a rebuilding company: the ratio of land area to bed count means most of the work is horizontal rather than vertical — grading, internal roads, parking, and water, drainage, power and irrigation networks spread across the whole site. The buildings split into a single hotel block requiring a full structural frame and hospitality fit-out, and 150 repeating motel units that lend themselves to modular or precast construction and a faster build cycle. Add a commercial kitchen and a 280-seat restaurant, a sports centre, landscaping and planting, and a mechanical and electrical scope of air conditioning, standby generation and fire detection.
