The Ministry of Health is offering an opportunity to develop an integrated medical city on a 6,000 m² site in the Al-Dahiya area of Daraa, bringing specialised health, training and service facilities together within a single scheme.
What this means for a rebuilding company: healthcare construction differs from commercial work in its detail, not only in its frame. Once excavation, structure and façades are done, the real weight sits in the mechanical and electrical package — medical gas networks, air-handling and filtration for operating theatres and isolation rooms, radiation shielding for imaging departments, generators and uninterruptible power, and water treatment with clinical waste drainage. Add to that cleanable, sterilisable finishes, laboratory fit-out, and on-site infrastructure including access roads, parking and ambulance approaches.
